Divinizing Business

Getting Out of a Client Drought

"What social media channel is best for me to use?"

I often hear this question from both new and not so new entrepreneurs when they are experiencing a client drought.

And most business coaches will answer one of two ways:

  1. start with what you like and what would be easier for you
  2. start with where your clients are.

These two answers have never felt very satisfactory to me.

I took this question into the akashic field (or quantum field or zero point) to see what guidance I would receive about the best way to make a choice.

Here's what I received: "Any option is the best."

Then I was given an image of a hose pouring water into parched earth.

This is how many of you may feel--I felt this way for a long time, too-- when you create content and no one likes, comments, or replies to your content. And then what many of us do is throw up our hands in frustration, stop creating or move platforms.

Changing platforms is like moving the water hose to a different spot because the earth isn't giving us the flowers we want after watering a couple of times.

As you create your posts or videos, I want you to think of your content like the water you are pouring into earth that is parched. You have to trust the soil to use the moisture and create the life sustaining conditions that will start producing life.

BUT you have to keep pouring the water.

Eventually you may see the water pooling or running off in different directions and then you can respond to that external feedback to change the results you are getting.

If you think of your business like a garden, you can see that you are in partnership with it, just like a gardener partners with the soil, the sun, the wind, etc.
It doesn't matter much where you put the garden, as any conditions can result in a beautiful garden, if you partner with the environment to give you the information you need to produce results.

You're not going to rail at the soil because it is too sandy. Instead, you can bring in different ingredients to change the conditions or you can choose plants that love sandy soil.

The key here is to see yourself as the gardener. Tapping into this energetic frequency allows you to see yourself as a person who

uses their agency to cultivate the garden.
understands the cycles of life and death.
patiently waits for life to spring forth.
pays attention to detail and responds to that feedback.

Let's move away from business using capitalist forms of extraction and move towards creating partnerships for co-creation and mutual benefit.

If you see your business as a garden, how can this new perspective help you as you build to attract the perfect client?

I’d love to know: Did this help? What would you like to dive deeper into next?

In the spirit of co-creation, I would like to help you with your business. I would love to know more about you and your business AND look for opportunities to help.
