Podcast Divinizing Business

2.2 Business as a Catalyst for Unity Consciousness

Can business be more than just a way to make money? Can it be a force for transformation, connection, and unity?

Today, we're talking about how business can become a catalyst for unity consciousness, a space where collaboration, reciprocity, and divine alignment can come together to create something truly transformative.

We'll explore what it looks like to run a business in alignment with the ninth wave, how it shifts the way we connect with others, and why it's one of the most powerful tools for creating change in the world.

Let's start by looking at how the energy of business has evolved through the waves. If you haven't listened to the first episode of this season, you might want to go back to it because that's where I've gone into a deeper discussion about the waves and set the framework for this podcast.

I invite you to listen to that if you haven't already. But let's move along here.

We're looking at how the energy of business has evolved through the waves. Let's start with the sixth wave. In this wave, business was rooted in hierarchy and control. It was about building empire, accumulating wealth, and maintaining power over others. Think of the monopolies and exploitative practices of the industrial age.

Now, we are still seeing the manifestations of this particular energy today. Wealth is concentrated in just a few people, who control, exploit, and extract from 90% of the population to accumulate their wealth. So there's definitely this energy of the sixth wave present still today.

The seventh wave brought productivity and efficiency to the forefront. This was the wave that introduced the industrial age. It gave rise to hustle culture, where success was measured by how much you could produce and how fast you could scale.

We saw the building of assembly lines and similar processes in this wave. For many people, their employment became restricted to one very niche type of activity to enhance productivity and efficiency. This energy also led to burnout, disconnection, and a loss of meaning.

The eighth-wave energies introduced collaboration and shared power, but businesses operating in this energy still struggle with surface-level connections and unresolved traumas from earlier waves.

We can see how each wave, including the seventh wave, started to address some of the issues from the sixth wave, but we're still very much in the energy of good versus evil, good and bad, hierarchy, and exploitation.

The ninth wave is really bringing in a new consciousness. As we enter the ninth wave, businesses can become a space for unity consciousness. Instead of being driven by control or productivity, businesses aligned with the ninth wave prioritize alignment, co-creation, and the well-being of everyone involved.

If you are listening to this podcast, it's probably because you're already feeling that nudge, that tug from the ninth wave energies, though you're still very much steeped in the other waves due to the timeframe in which we find ourselves.

We are very much at the beginning of the ninth-wave energies. That means we still have influences from the sixth, seventh, and eighth wave energies.

So, I want to go into a deeper discussion of what it actually looks like to run a business that's aligned with unity consciousness and consider the key principles that you can start focusing on.

Remember, you don't need to focus on all of them at once. It's a gradual process, so you don't become overwhelmed. Since we're still steeped in these old energies, it does take time and effort to disconnect from them.

However, if we are focused and use meditation, mindfulness, and awareness, we can analyze and identify activities that align with lower energies.

If you're feeling a misalignment, it's likely due to the sixth, seventh, and eighth waves. Engaging more with the ninth wave will bring a stronger sense of alignment.

Let's look at what some of these principles are.

Collaboration Over Competition

The first principle we're going to talk about is the idea of collaboration over competition. In the ninth wave, business is no longer about competing for resources or clients. Instead, it's about asking how we can support each other and create something greater together.

For example, for lead generation and increasing your audience, you might participate as a guest on someone else's podcast. You can also consider participating in bundles, where you contribute a particular offer, product, or service and gain followers. Another strategy could be participating in a summit, where you share your knowledge through a talk or presentation, connecting with an audience you might not have accessed otherwise.

Think about other strategies where you can collaborate, such as referral-based approaches where you refer clients to others and they do the same for you.

Purpose-driven Work

Another strategy is doing purpose-driven work. Unity consciousness businesses are usually guided by a deeper purpose, not just profit.

If you're producing an offer or product that seems misaligned, examine whether it's reflecting your deeper purpose. Misalignment often occurs when a product is created solely for profit without meaningfully contributing your gifts and medicine to the world.

Reciprocity in Relationships

Another key principle is reciprocity in relationships. Every interaction, whether with a client, collaborator, or audience member, is part of an energetic exchange.

Unity consciousness businesses prioritize relationships that feel balanced, respectful, and nourishing. Consider how you're building opportunities for reciprocity in your interactions. While selling a service or product generally involves an energetic exchange through money, ensure that the exchange feels balanced and of equal value.

For businesses starting out, energetic exchanges might involve learning about your audience, engaging in community activities, or participating in Q&As. The exchange doesn't always have to be monetary, but it does need to feel balanced, respectful, and nourishing for both parties involved.

Soul and Values Alignment

Another principle to discuss is alignment with your soul's energies and values. Success in the ninth wave isn’t about following someone else’s formula. If you’re feeling misaligned in marketing, offer creation, or service delivery, it might be because you're not engaging your soul's essence and values. Connecting deeply to yourself and bringing your divinity forward allows for authentic, integrity-driven business creation.

I’ll never forget the moment I realized my business could be more than just a way to make money. It could truly be a space for connection and transformation.

A few years ago, I worked with a client who approached our collaboration with scarcity and control. They were guarded, distrustful, and focused solely on what they could get from the relationship. Initially, I tried to meet them where they were, but it quickly became clear that the energetic exchange was unsustainable.

That experience forced me to ask tough questions like: What kind of relationships do I want to create in my business? What kind of energy do I want to bring to my work? Do I want my client to set the parameters for our engagement, or do I need to have firm boundaries regarding the time and services I offer?

For example, I was working online, and they wanted to meet in person. This was a non-negotiable for me. The nature of my work is mostly online, and renting an office for one-hour weekly sessions was impractical.

Despite my willingness to accommodate, the client's requirements exceeded my boundaries. This experience made me realize the importance of setting clear limits and resulted in the client moving on.

This realization became a turning point.

I discovered that my business wasn't just about delivering results but about fostering unity, healing, growth, and trust in client relationships. Consequently, I began attracting clients aligned with my values, who wanted co-creation rather than extraction and appreciated the deeper purpose behind my work.

Here are some ways business can act as a catalyst for unity consciousness:

Think about opportunities for co-creation, whether through collaborations, partnerships, or client relationships. Focus on creating together rather than working in silos or trying to outdo each other. Ensure the energetic exchange feels equal, prioritizing meaningful impact beyond profit.

Ask yourself questions like: How can my work contribute to the well-being of others? How does it contribute to my own well-being?

Building inclusive communities is another focus.

Businesses aligned with ninth-wave energies foster communities where people feel seen, valued, and supported. This might look like creating a mastermind group, hosting events, or simply cultivating a sense of belonging for your audience.

Consider how you're inviting your audience to engage with you, from asking questions in emails to connecting through social media. Authentic connections create a sense of community rather than merely selling a service.

Reflect on how your business embodies reciprocity.

Business is an energetic exchange, and you should honor the value you provide. Ensure that the energy you receive--whether financial, emotional, or social--feels balanced and aligned.

Make a list of ways in which you've experienced balanced value exchanges, and start integrating those into your business.

The last principle is to practice radical transparency.

Unity consciousness businesses are open and honest, breaking down hierarchies and control barriers. Share your truth, transformation, and challenges with clients. This builds trust and a sense of community.

For instance, discuss your reasoning behind pricing, discounts, tier pricing, or scholarships. Transparency in your decision-making process fosters deeper connections with your audience.

Transitioning from the sixth, seventh, and eighth waves to the ninth wave or unity consciousness isn't easy. We're often conditioned by older waves, whether it's the hustle culture of the seventh wave or the control dynamics of the sixth wave.

Recognizing these challenges and addressing them is essential for creating a business aligned with unity consciousness.

For example, letting go of scarcity thinking and trusting there is enough for everyone shifts focus from competition to value creation.

Releasing old conditioning is key.

Pay attention to when you're operating from fear, control, or a need to prove yourself, and consciously choose alignment instead. Align with your own soul energies and blueprint through meditation or other methods.

Navigating misaligned relationships is also challenging. Not everyone is ready for unity consciousness, and that's okay. Release clients focused on control or fear, and trust there are others aligned with your values and vision. Communicate your connection to unity consciousness clearly, attracting the right clients.

Here’s what I hope you’ll take away from today’s episode: Business can be transformative.

When aligned with unity consciousness, your business becomes a space for connection, growth, and impact. However, unity consciousness requires intentionality and doesn’t happen by accident.
